Pink Cadillac
THAT IS MY GOAL! I have signed with Mary Kay cosmetics to become a consultant. In the past month, I have met new friends and had fun with old friends. I have had "handicial" and "facial" parties galore.
I am amazed at what the future could hold for me if I pursue this business opportunity to the fullest. I earn 50% commission on all products sold, opportunity for awards and prizes, and could earn a FREE vehicle to drive while going to all the parties that friends and family are having.
Now I love FREE anything. But give me a FREE vehicle and I will be over the moon. I do know there is hard work involved and I am up for the challenge...
If you would like to help me in my goal, check out my website: www.marykay.com/ckish
Now, when can I get those keys and would my husband drive a pink car?

Christmas
Gifts are nice but spending time with your family is where its at. We were able to host Christmas at our house this year for all of our family. Being off for 2 weeks has been nice. I dread going back next week. The kids do not know how to act with mama around. Between driving me crazy with 50 toys going at once or sneaking trying to get the desserts that my MIL left. She bought this nice cake from Sam's with each quarter different. Bartley decides to stick his fingers in it several times. Then Mattie attacks it. Who wants cake with chunks missing out of it?
Forgot to mention Santa went green this year. He didn't wrap the kids presents. This saved alot of time. It only took us 2 weeks getting the tree decorated.
Next year, I think we will limit the number of gifts the kids get. They got way too much. They already get alot during the year.
Its the little things that matter. During this time, we have killed hogs, made syrup, went fishing, and spent time as a family. It is so nice not to rush to work, come home tired, and not be there at home for the kids to wake up from naps. Sometimes, I even get to take one.

KMART DOES THE DOUBLE
My friend and I went yesterday to Gainesville Kmart. My receipt is 5 1/2 feet long. The cashier was glad to see us leave. When she would scan a coupon, she would have to touch the item on her screen. RefundCents.com
I know I promote this site quite a bit but it is so worth it. I check it constantly throughout the day in hopes of finding a missing bargain.
If you go to that website, here is a freebie for you. You can register for the grocery boards. People post sales and bargains that they have found for every grocery store that you can think of.
I still say that if you are interested in saving money. Sign up for RefundCents.com. I have saved so much money that my subscription costs has paid for itself mutliple times.

Where are the EVIL CASHIERS? AT WAL-MART
I wish I had wrote the cashier's name down. She was not nice and I warned her that I had coupons.
See below:
I went to Wal-Mart Friday afternoon prepared to do battle with my new binder stocked full of my coupons. I wanted to get all my free coupons taken care of including (5)Mighty Dog free cans, (5)Friskies Cat Treats,(3) loaves of Sara Lee bread, my All You coupons (3) Free Kraft Salad dressings, (3) Free Crystal Light drink mix, (3) Free Wheat thins, (3) Free Oscar Mayer hot dogs, (3) Kraft cheese slices. I bought Kool-Aid and Jello to cover the All You coupons. I bought larger sizes of the cheese and paid a difference of $1.24 each pack and bought larger sizes of the salad dressings and paid .18 each.
Some deals I found were: 2 Hershey’s syrups 1.50 each (used 1.00/2)2 Sunmaid 6 pk raisins 1.33 each (used 1.00/2)8 Weber Grilling Creations Spice Mix .62 each (used 4 1.00/2)=.12 each pkJ & J take along pack 3.12 (used 1.00)Huggies Clean Team wipes 1.64x2=3.28 (used 3.00/2)=.14 each pkJ & J EZ grip soaps .97 each x 4=3.88 (used 2 2.00/2)= .12 profitSuave Shampoo 1.25 x 2= 2.50 (used 2.00/2)=.50Old El Paso taco seasoning .72 x 4=2.88 (used 2 2.00/2)=.22 each pkChildren t-shirts clearance price 1.00 x 4=4.00Louisiana Fish Fry seasoning 1.24 x 8= 9.92 (used 4 1.00/2)= .74 each pack (Publix price was 2 something)Jack Links beef jerky 2.97 x 2= 5.94 (used 2 1.00/1)= 1.97 each pkPillsbury Pizza crust 2.08 x 2= 4.16 (used 2 1.00/1)= 1.08 each I was in the store for 2 hours and then it took 45 minutes for the cashier to check me out. I warned her that I had a lot of coupons and that I had already wrote in the prices. She was supposed to get off at 8pm and was trying to scan my coupons to fast for the register to catch it. I kept stopping her each time the coupon didn’t register and she was trying to argue with me. I asked her to print the receipt so I could check for myself. This just made her get flustered and get even angrier with me. Then the register wouldn’t accept the full value of the cheese coupon and she was going to put in a lower price and jip me some money. I told her I would not accept that and she could call customer service. She said in a snide voice they were on their way because I used too many coupons. I asked her if there was a limit. I also asked the CSM is there was a limit. She said as long as I has a coupon for every product there was not a limit that she was aware of. Total before coupons $247.53-$105.34= $142.19. This is the most I have ever saved in one shopping trip. Thanks to everyone who posts their bargains. This helps me find some that I might have missed. My only regret that I didn’t buy more of the All You last month because this month’s coupons aren’t as good.

Free Time-Where is it and Can I get some?
As my friend Holly asked the other day, can you find some free time and send it my way? We are all going a such a high rate of speed. My life is constant. I go to work get my work done and like everyone else goes home and does another job. In my case, take your pick. I am working full-time, have 2 cleaning jobs, and have my own bookkeeping business. Oh, and I forgot to mention a working mother of two children and a wife of 10 years. All this is to get ahead and in this economy- life is hard.
I just want to get hit by the money tree. It would be nice not to worry about money but then I see other problems that come with having money. I still would like a little extra though.
